My Old Neon

My first car was a Black 1995 Dodge Neon 'Highline'. She was named "Nellie" by my friend Kathryn.  I owned Nellie for about two years, and invested approximately $6,000 into her.  She died in an accident on 4/21/03 when a lady in a Grand Cherokee turned directly in front of me, making a crash unavoidable. 

This was possibly the worst time ever for a car accident to happen, because not only was it the first day of spring break 2003, it was also the very beginning of the 2003 car show season.  I finally had my car just how I liked it, and was planning on entering her in every show I could for that season.  The crash happened before I could enter Nellie into any car shows.
